My name is Meghan, the founder and face behind Marketing by Meghan. And that's Leo, my almost 4 year old dachshund-mix! He's on the front page of this about me section because knowing about him is just as important as knowing about me!
Anyways, dog-mom talk aside, I'm so glad you're here and are interested in taking your business to the next level. Below is a little bit more about who I am!
My Story
Like we've established, and based on the name of this website you're on, I'm Meghan. I was raised in East Tennessee surrounded by my loving family whose ancestors have been in the area for hundreds of years (no, really - I've done the research and would love to talk about it if you're into that kind of stuff!).
I always was a creative and curious child, questioning the WHY - which has served me well all my life. Asking myself "Why?" when I was studying something I wasn't passionate about in college led me to where I am today once I switched my area of study to marketing. I then went on and graduated from the University of Tennessee with my Bachelor of Business Administration where I majored in marketing and had the opportunity to study many specialty marketing topics such as Strategic Digital Marketing, Visual Marketing, and more. In addition to my studies, I have worked in content management, internal communications, social media management, sales, public relations, and more at places like FedEx and the University of Tennessee.
